Superb gameplay, a breakneck pace and terrifying enemies makes The Evil Within a wonderful survival horror experience.

Since the release of Resident Evil in 1996, the survival horror genre has gone through as many transformations as the abominations in the various storylines. I love this game! It defiantly has parts where you will jump and have a bit of a scare. Also has difficult parts and is quite challenging and will consume your life! I love it and will continue to replay it every so often.
Pretty predictable game. Overall effects are ok. I gave it 4 stars because the zombies are real fast and weapons are really hard to come by making the game pretty hard.

A great horror game which reminds me of how survival horror games used to be. Always scavenging for ammo and items of interest and having to take your time and plan your attack. One walking corpse alone can provide a challenge.
