I have choosen the Tamron 70-200/2.8 VC because at my workplace we use the same and I was impressed by its performance and durability. We use it as workhorse and its still working- but the zoom rings rubber got expanded so its not wheater sealed for now and not very sexy.
Pros:
- Pretty fast and accurate AF
- good built quality
- very nice iq
- damn good stabilization
- not that pricey
Cons:
- Built quality not as good as Canon 70-200/2.8 also the AF slower (not significantly)
- zoom ring and mf ring reversed
- hard to use with reversed hood

The Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 costs much less than name-brand options. It's built tough and delivers crisp images, but is prone to flare.
Pros:

Cons:
- Weak flare resistance., Dimmed corners., Sharpness drops off at 200mm., Toggle switches prone to inadvertent changes.

Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD SP
Just got this beauty, and man is it made like a tank, less weighty and almost the same length as the latest canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II). Sharpness is excellent, and better than my old Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS (the original). High contrast images and very fast focusing. Creamy bokeh.

Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD SP
For shooters on a budget and who aren't able to invest $2,000 on a professional 70-200mm lens, Tamron presents a solid, affordable option. There are definitely concessions to be made here, primarily in sharpness at the ƒ/2.8 setting, where the lens will probably spend most of its time.

Great lens
Images are very sharp! I use this lens on my Nikon D7100 and the two work perfectly together as a couple. The autofocus of this lens is of decent speed and the zooming is very smooth.

A Very Solid Competitor to Canon L
I bought this lens to replace the 70-200mm f/4l Canon I had. I am kicking myself for NOT doing it sooner!! Honestly, I should have just saved and bought this first. It is a solid solid lens no joke. The color is amazing, it's razor sharp, killer in low light, and just does what it's supposed to.
Pros:
- Razor Sharp
- Superb Color
- Has VC
- Affordable
- and a 6yr Warranty too
Cons:
- Not a single one

The wide f/2.8 aperture and built-in image stabilisation make this lens one to consider if you regularly shoot in low-light conditions, and it's significantly cheaper than equivalent rivals from Canon, Nikon and Sony.

Best telephoto VFM choice!
Pros:
- Superb sharpness
- IQ
- VFM
Cons:
- A bit slower AF than Nikkor f/2.8

EUROPEAN ZOOM LENS
