"grey market"
purchased this unit in good faith, having been reassured by Amazon.ca that the unit was able to register for Tamron Warranty Registration, well it CAN NOT, this is a "gray marketed" unit,,, "Centre Drone" is not an authorized dealer of Tamron products.

Great bang for buck. Some sample variability.
This lens does NOT produce images that are as sharp as (for example) the "industry standard" 70-200 f/2.8 Nikon lens, but it does produce a very good, very usable, sharp image. It takes more practice to get good images from this long of a lens than from a normal telephoto because the very narrow...

Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 G2 Review
The Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 is a very good lens. For the money, it's a great lens. It's very sharp throughout its range, has effective image stabilization, quick autofocus, and is relatively light and handholdable for a lens of its focal length.

Best in class for birds and wildlife.
This lens is head to head with the Sigma Sport 15-600mm. However, it handles much better than the Sigma, which is nose heavy at 600mm. I have been using the G2 Tamron since its introduction and it is my standard birding lens on my Nikon D500, hardly ever use anything else.
