the tp-link switch is used in the living room where I have 4 things hooked up to it and they all work as well as if I were using wifi. This is netter because what if any thing goes wrong with wifi then I am out until I get it fixed.

The product was an easy swap. I just unplugged the cables from the old switch, removed the old switch, placed the new TPLink switch in place and plugged in the ethernet cables. As soon as I plugged in the power adapter, the switch connected to my modem/router and ethernet connections were made...
We're fairly new to TP-Link products and so far we're impressed. This device replaced a 5-port TP-Link switch that we grew out of and from the get-go it worked just so we hoped right out of the box.
Great design; allows for gigabit speed in all ports
None
8 port unmanaged gigabit switch. Extra ports where you need them, when you need them. In stock at a great price. What's not to like
Easy To Set Up
Brought for upstairs as internet switch so I don't have to keep switching the cables over
I've tried putting as much load as I possibly can on it and at peak I was getting about 970Mbps throughput, sending multiple files from multiple drives to multiple computers connected to the device, so it seems to work pretty well. Runs cool, no overheating problems at all.
Great for fast internet where WI-FI is to slow. Unit takes 200Mbps easy
Does exactly what it says. I just needed more ports and this was a perfect upgrade and very decent price.
Works as it is suppose too. I have had no problems with it. Thanks.
With computer systems sporting Gigabit LAN Port being a norm these days, a Gigabit switch makes it all the better by allowing your computers to communicate at Gigabit LAN speed.
