This is the second unit I purchased (expanding, not replacing), and would recommend to others. The performance is excellent and the design is nice enough to put it in sight of others instead of hiding in a closet.

Does exactly what it says. I just needed more ports and this was a perfect upgrade and very decent price.
8 port unmanaged gigabit switch. Extra ports where you need them, when you need them. In stock at a great price. What's not to like
Easy To Set Up
Cracking little product at a great price. The sleek look is very smart and the product does it job. what more can we ask for
We're fairly new to TP-Link products and so far we're impressed. This device replaced a 5-port TP-Link switch that we grew out of and from the get-go it worked just so we hoped right out of the box.
Great design; allows for gigabit speed in all ports

I purchased this TPLink 8port Gigabit Switch to replace a 5 port switch. The product was an easy swap. I just unplugged the cables from the old switch, removed the old switch, placed the new TPLink switch in place and plugged in the ethernet cables.

I usually get Trendnet (metal box switches) but decided to try a TP-Link unit this time around.Seems to work flawlessly thus far for a bedroom media setup .The only thing I wouldhave liked are8 front port lights like they used to have on this model switch vs the now single front (on) light .Sale...

I'm not sure why they are asking me to rate the WiFi signal for the 8 port unmanaged switch. This product doesn't use WiFi signals, you plug cat-5 cable directly into it. It's basically a splitter for getting more cat-5 connections. My WiFi router only had 6 ports and I needed more so I bought this.
Can't beat the price. I'm doing a lot of IOT stuf with Raspberry Pi3B+ and Odroid XU-4 and needed more ports. This solved the problem without taking a lot of space.
