Not quite for PS4
Audio and mic works, but the USB chat mix dial on these headphones is designed only for PC use (had this confirmed by SteelSeries) not for PS4 as advertised here. Shame as these are very comfortable, look cool and function very well other than this.

SteelSeries Arctis 5 Gaming Headset Review
If you've been looking for a new headset and want something that advances the category forward in new and exciting ways, . That said, I can only imagine how much better the next Arctis update will be once the company irons out the kinks and streamlines everything to a T.

Here's a Gaming Headset You'll Actually Want to Wear Out
In terms of raw technology, gaming headsets have never been better. They sound great, and their microphones provide a distinct advantage for competitive players. For overall user experience, though, they leave a lot to be desired.
Pros:
- Extremely comfortable
- Sleek aesthetics
- Great audio
- Sensible software
Cons:
- So-so surround sound
- Long
- convoluted cables

Great sound even just out of the box without the need for 7.1 drivers having been installed; with said drivers installed it's got a fantastic sound quality for what it is[a headset].
Pros:
- -Amazing 7.1 sound drivers with nice highs mids and lows
- great bass, -The option to make chat programs louder while turning down game/music volume[vice versa] with the chatmix, -Has a nice feel on the head, fairly lightweight not as much strain on the neck and shoulders, -Microphone has a lot of...
Cons:
- -Microphone does not have enough input volume and is generally quiet
- -Price point for this product is kind of not worth just a decent pair of headphones minus microphone
- -Drivers only seem to really affect the 7.1 surround sound
- -Since the headset is USB again the microphone input volume seems to...

Arctis 5 Headset Review – Colorshift into High Gear
SteelSeries has developed a reputation as makers of pretty high-end hardware. At least, this was the impression I'd held onto since I first heard their name many years ago. Until now, I'd never had the chance to properly test this assumption.
Pros:
- High level of functionality
- Flexible in their range of usability
- Super stylish in design
Cons:
- Sleek design feels fragile
- White hardware just cannot stay clean
- Certain functions locked behind updates

"Awesome sound"
The sound really comes to life, I enjoy listening to spotify whilst playing my favourite ps4 games and the Mic sounds awesome. My wife never knows when my headphones are on either because there isnt any residual sound.
