Great sound even just out of the box without the need for 7.1 drivers having been installed; with said drivers installed it's got a fantastic sound quality for what it is[a headset].
- -Amazing 7.1 sound drivers with nice highs mids and lows
- great bass, -The option to make chat programs louder while turning down game/music volume[vice versa] with the chatmix, -Has a nice feel on the head, fairly lightweight not as much strain on the neck and shoulders, -Microphone has a lot of...
- -Microphone does not have enough input volume and is generally quiet
- -Price point for this product is kind of not worth just a decent pair of headphones minus microphone
- -Drivers only seem to really affect the 7.1 surround sound
- -Since the headset is USB again the microphone input volume seems to...
Steelseries Arctis 5 Gaming Headset - Black ARCTIS 5 review
Arctis 5 takes part of the latest SteelSeries series of gaming headsets and incorporates 7.1 surround sound thanks to the DTX Headphone:X technology. The unit is available in both black and white colors, does pack configurable RGB lighting out the outside cup area and also adds a new level of...
Steelseries Arctis 5 X 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset with RGB Illumination and DTS Headphone for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, VR, Android and iOS - Black
it's so good, works perfectly, and I love the RGB lighting.
SteelSeries Arctis 5
The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is a great gaming headset, chock-full of useful features, and carefully tuned to sound as accurate as possible instead of just focusing on the bass. Thanks to that, it's great for playing games on a high level and just as good for listening to music, both at home and on the...

Arctis 5 Headset Review – Colorshift into High Gear
SteelSeries has developed a reputation as makers of pretty high-end hardware. At least, this was the impression I'd held onto since I first heard their name many years ago. Until now, I'd never had the chance to properly test this assumption.- High level of functionality
- Flexible in their range of usability
- Super stylish in design
- Sleek design feels fragile
- White hardware just cannot stay clean
- Certain functions locked behind updates
"Awesome sound"
The sound really comes to life, I enjoy listening to spotify whilst playing my favourite ps4 games and the Mic sounds awesome. My wife never knows when my headphones are on either because there isnt any residual sound.
Great product
So not only am I impressed with the headset itself and would highly recommend it, but also, the delivery and condition of both the product and box is perfect. Definitely worth buying if you're either thinking to upgrade or as first time buy in which case it might be your last.
Comfortable for long gaming sessions
A comfortable gaming headset for the price, if you are looking for surround sound spend more money on something with more drivers.- This headset works great for long gaming sessions, the chat mix feature is great to mix game and chat volumes
- Lots of accessories too, replacement cords, different ear muffs and bands can be found online which is nice
- The surround sound is mostly a gimmick and I prefer it off
