Brilliant

I borrowed this lens once. On the basis of great reviews. I shoot rockn roll concerts very often and wanted to try it out. I was absolutely excited and convinced. What a quality. Sharp from corner to corner, and that wide open. Even the drummer who is further away is clearly visible.

Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM

Very happy with this lens! Using it on my Sony A6400, as a fast 36mm, one lens solution, for every day general photography!

Sony FE 24mm F1.4 GM Review

The Sony FE 24mm F1.4 GM ($1,399) is everything a modern wide-angle lens should be. It's notably smaller and lighter than alternatives for SLR systems, exceptionally sharp, and opens up to f/1.4 to snap images with defocused backgrounds. If it's within your budget, it should be your first choice in this focal length for your Sony a7 or a9 series camera, and earns our Editors' Choice recommendation. Compact, Wide, and Bright The FE 24mm F1.4 GM is a little bit smaller and lighter than similar lenses for SLR systems. It comes in at 3.6 by 3.0 inches (HD) and just under a pound, with support for 67mm front filters. Compare that with the the Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art, which costs less, but is a bit bigger all around and a half-pound heavier. The lens is part of Sony's top-tier G Master series, and includes the expected design touches. The barrel is rugged polycarbonate, with dust and splash protection, and anti-smudge fluorine coating on its front element. Sony includes a reversi...

With a light, compact design and stellar optics, you can't ask or a better wide-angle prime lens than the Sony FE 24mm F1.4 GM.

Bright, f/1.4 aperture; Light and compact; Dust, splash, and fluorine protection; Aperture ring with selectable detents

Pricier than some other options

Sharp, compact

Fantastic Sharp lens, compact size. I like the aperture ring on the lens with the ability to revert to using the thumb wheels by switching to A on the ring.

Sony FE F1.4 GM Lens review

Apple has given select media outlets and YouTubers access to the new iPhone 14 ahead of when it begins arriving in customers' hands on Friday, September 16. There are two models of the ‌iPhone‌ 14, the standard 6.1-inch ‌iPhone‌ 14 and the larger 6.7-inch ‌iPhone‌ 14 Plus.

Sony FE F1.4 GM Lens review

A slight camera upgrade, new emergency features, and... not a whole lot else

Better selfie camera, Good battery life, Crash detection and satellite SOS are neat

It’s more like an iPhone 13S, Display is still 60Hz, eSIM transition will be easy for most but painful for some

Sony FE F1.4 GM Lens review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Sony FE F1.4 GM Lens review

It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.

Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.

Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.
