Sony E 16mm f/2.8 SEL16F28 review by Perry Rhodan

Really not bad at all. The 5N does very nice with this one, even with the WA attached. The NEX 6 does even better. Not the best for brick/walls or any other flat surfaces. But this cheap pancake records scenery much better than expected. Using the WA or FE adapters adds great use to the kit.

Compact; light; at F8 very sharp; price with WA is 200

not very sharp corners wide open

At the price I had to pay in bundle with NEX-5 it is a bargain. However Panasonic shows that it could be made way better with it's Lumix G F1,7/ 20 mm

produces a slight amount of pincushion distortion (~0.6%) which is usually not objectionable in field conditions; At f/8 it is working very good all over the image field

the corner performance is rather poor especially at f/2.8 and f/4; The fairly heavy amount of lateral CAs isn't helpful

A light weight wide lens to suit the NEX cameras

This light weight short focal length lens is a must for the NEX-5 camera and the ultra wide adapter lens VCL-ECU1 as well as the Fish eye converter VCL-ECF1 makes this combination a "must have" to complement the other NEX lenses.

Easy to use; Compact; Build quality

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 SEL16F28

I bought this lens for wide angle indoor an architectural shots and also as a platform for fisheye and ultra wide convertors from sony. The image quality is just fine. Considering the price its better than that. The colors are crisp and clean, with good contrast.

Very very light weight; good image quality for the price; fast accurat focus and makes your nex camera truly pocketable

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 (SEL-16F28) - Review / Re-Test

The AF performance is pretty good for a contrast detection system (albeit highly dependent on the base camera). AF operations are basically noiseless. Manual focusing works "by wire" so the focus ring is not directly coupled to the focus gears but to the AF motor.

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 (NEX) Lens - Brand New review

Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.

Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life

It's just "this year's iPhone"

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 (NEX) Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 isn't much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it's still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.

Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

Display could use some upgrades

Sony E 16mm f/2.8 (NEX) Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 is very similar to the iPhone 13, which itself was very similar to the iPhone 12. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad phone — it’s just less of an upgrade for anyone using a phone that’s only two years old.
