It is a great game, great features. You can play it again any time you want, you'll find always something new.
Sometimes a piece of art captures the zeitgeist, and Sniper Elite 4 is a perfect example. In a world where people are asking if it's OK to punch Nazis, here comes a game where you can punch a Nazi so hard that their jaw shatters into tiny shards.
You can punch Nazis; X-ray kill cams are always satisfying; Challenging AI; It's gorgeous
Can feel repetitive; Unimaginative objectives
The game really does become better, the more the it is played. A game that was once terrible is now a decent play. Go get it.
Great price for this game.
This is the first sniper game that I have purchased and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good story line relating to WW2!
Ben heads to the land of lasagne to serve the Nazis a lead lunch.
Better close quarters combat; Massive levels with beautiful vistas; Expanded multiplayer includes an excellent co-op horde mode; Improved stealth
Derivative storyline; Bland protagonist
I really enjoyed SE3 but, coming late to the franchise, I had bought the game of the year edition so didn't realise that so many basic guns get locked behind dlc in the standard game!!! The game is fine, SE4 is more of the same but I can't support hiding basic content from players in paid for games.
A significant improvement on previous entries, with better stealth and AI making the sport of Nazi-hunting more enjoyable than ever.
The sniping and x-ray view are great fun, and the larger maps greatly increase the amount of freedom; Much improved movement systems and some enjoyable multiplayer options
Still fairly low tech in all areas, with the artificial intelligence still not being entirely reliable; Throwaway storyline and so-so cover-based combat
Since its inception in 2005, Rebellion ‘s Sniper Elite franchise has proven something of an antithesis to the Hollywood bombast found in contemporary shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield .
