Sandisk Ultra Dual pendrive is a 'must have' item for smart media storage management ....Unique product with smart concept...!!
This has been a life saver for me. I have been having problems with my computer--I am not computer savy--Now I feel that my files are safe If my computer goes
Flash drives have become as ubiquitous as cell phones, and the large number of them out in the wild has caused most distinguishing characteristics to melt away. This is certainly true of the SanDisk Ultra (32GB), which boasts only average features and durability along with a decent capacity and an...
Lots of space; Capless design; Won't block adjacent ports
Only USB 2.0; Not very rugged
storing pictures
Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Reliable; Simple Controls
None
With USB3 and memory that is plenty fast enough, this USB stick is good value. The encryption software is a bonus.
SanDisk sent their Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 make of their ultra series flash drives, which is advertised to be up to 4 times faster than USB 2.0 drives in comparison to their Cruzer USB 2.0 counterparts. However for such flash drives, any brands mostly point out the read speed.
5 Years Warranty; Retractable design
Bad write performance; Not recommended for frequent file transfer purposes
Yes, I would recommend this flash drive to others. It's a great bang for the buck and has good security software. Honestly, the only reason to buy a SanDisk product is for the software. A 5 year warranty is good too. I really wish other colors were an option. The shape of this is strange too.
I really like the SanDisk SecureAccess software, which is the main reason that I bought this; It's basically the SanDisk modified version of ENC DataVault; The software from ENC is $14.99 for a license that works on 3 devices.
I really hate the colors of SanDisk flash drives; Black is horrid for computer products because it shows dust and dirt like crazy and it's ugly; In the 1990's computer products were often beige and even that was less ugly.
The flash drive has a slow write speed despite the available and fully functioning USB 3.0 port on my neighbors desktopPC. I am currently transferring 20 GB of data, without any increase to the expected 40 mb/s speeds as advertised. Reasons?
Very reliable brand. Using for media storage on my brother's TV for when the internet goes down in the nursing home. He can't get up to load DVDs, so we keep this USB plugged in all the time. Holding up great! Stores 800+ movies & shows. My brother is ecstatic! I'm very pleased.
