Wonderful deal in great price! Data transfer rate is very high. Indeed, a great product by Sandisk!
Fail on first use
I loaded a number of files on the flash drive and the first time that I tried to review the files, I could not access the drive, then could not even erase and reformat the drive. Costco's return policy has been great.- costco return policy
- flash drive failed

SanDisk sent their Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 make of their ultra series flash drives, which is advertised to be up to 4 times faster than USB 2.0 drives in comparison to their Cruzer USB 2.0 counterparts. However for such flash drives, any brands mostly point out the read speed.- 5 Years Warranty
- Retractable design
- Bad write performance
- Not recommended for frequent file transfer purposes

The SanDisk Ultra Backup USB Flash Drive is a one-touch backup solution and USB memory stick. We tested the 32GB version.
While many external drives now come with a physical push-button backup option, a new genre of backup devices is emerging: one-touch USB flash drives that combine the convenience of small size with relatively sophisticated backup applications for data protection.- Easy to use
- one-touch backup
- Feels flimsy
- expensive
For some reason slow write speeds
The flash drive has a slow write speed despite the available and fully functioning USB 3.0 port on my neighbors desktopPC. I am currently transferring 20 GB of data, without any increase to the expected 40 mb/s speeds as advertised. Reasons?
Back-up Vault is horrific
Do not, I repeat do not, use the back-up Vault whatever it is called. I followed the 12 page pdf directions & set-up "My Vault" and tried to copy about 12 GB of photos.- Lightweight
- Difficult Setup
- Poor Interface
Good For This One
this pen drive do have high transmission rate of data and which is very useful in many cases and instances where there is no time and one needs data through the pen drive or in the pen drive.
WOW
Previously I used (and still use) a PNY 16GB SD card in my Sony Alpha a390 and I thought the write speed of that was fast. Wait till you use this one.
works great, good value
Pulled my 16Gb card to put in my girlfriends phone and put this in my Android. Had to spend some time moving files to the computer and back but no problems there and it is working great on the phone.
