While Samsung's SSD 850 Pro turned in superb results when we reviewed it in late June, we couldn't quite crown it the performance king without having benched SanDisk's new flagship.

It's outdone by the performance of Samsung's 850 Pro and we would've liked to have seen hardware encryption included

I purchased this 960gb SSD for my 2011 Mac Book pro. Was very easy to install myself. My system works fantastically ever since i have installed this SSD. System boots up in under 10 secs. Super fast! applications too load up just at the click of a button. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, the Extreme II was one of the best SSDs we ever tested, and I wasn't sure if any company would be able to best its performance with a SATA based product. This drive was recommended for capturing 4K images, I have had no problems with this drive. Staples took care of me via a phone oder, then drive was delivered promplty in 2 days.

A nice upgrade from the regular 5400 rpm hard drive. It finds files fast and boot up time is reduced as well. I also boosted up my memory on my 2012 MacBook Pro to 16gb, so in combination with the SSD there is a noticeable difference.

Let me start by saying i run this drive as the boot and holds most of my music that i listen to. It still shows 100% life remaining on the SanDisk dashboard. no problems with startups or shutdowns. i keep a battery backup on so no power drops.

Chose this drive based on reviews, great capacity and the specs are quite impressive. The installation in a MacBook Pro is a breeze and with Trim Enabler installed (now supporting El Capitan) everything works great. System boots much, much faster than it use to and apps start instantly.
