Samyang/Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC
This low-cost lens works well on my APS-C camera for shooting night photos. The wide aperture allows a lot of light in while the aspherical elements of the lens minimize coma around points of light (stars). It beats the higher priced Canon lenses, for example.- low cost
- excellent sharpness
- distortion
Mission Accomplished
As a serious amateur landscape photographer, I find this lens to be an excellent choice. It yields razor sharp imagery with extreme depth of field on my D800E. This lens is one of the best price to value propositions on the market today.- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Excellent sharpness
