It's pretty clear what tablet Samsung is challenging with the new Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. This $399 slate is going right after the iPad mini with Retina Display, offering a sharper and bigger screen in a design that's just as thin and light.

Lovely tab hindered by terrible lag when using magazine ux or multi window. Massive dissapponent considering it's same as my note 3 spec wise it's nowhere near as smooth.

Extremely poor build quality from Samsung with this. I am returning it straightaway. It makes an annoying creaking sound near the bottom left hand side of the screen...like its going to break or come apart any second.

This is another size that gives the same splendid experience that the rest of the Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO tablets deliver. This tablet has a strong processor, a radiant display and an interactive software just as a start and it's compact size is definitely a plus.
