Outstanding display and flawless performance

I wanted an android tablet that was equal or better than my Ipad Mini. This Tab Pro 8.4 is the one. Watching movies is a real treat. The picture quality is astounding and the sound quality with my bluetooth plugable speakers completes the experience.

Awesome. We both love it

I was surprised because it arrived 0ne day sooner. After running my new Tab I was very impressed. It's much faster then my ASUS, & I love how easy it is to use. I bought one for my wife, & she notice that it was faster then her old Tablet (ASUS).

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 review

The Tab is the latest Samsung to get the Pro treatment, upping the spec to create one of the best mid-sized tablets out there -- though you'll pay a bit more for it. We looked at the 8.4-inch version of the Tab Pro, but there's also a 10.1-inch version available for £449.

Terrific screen; powerful processor; slim and sturdy build

On the pricey side

Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 review

In a world of cheapo-tabs a £350 slate has to go some way to convince gadgeteers that it's worth the extra spend. On paper the TabPro is just about there - it's got an amazingly sharp screen, is stuffed full of classy components, genuinely useful apps and wins over media hoarders with its microSD...

That screen; Software treats to gorge on; MicroSD expansion to 64GB

Performance niggles; Only so-so battery life; No S Pen

Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 review

When it comes to tablet strategy Samsung has saturated the market with devices of all sorts of sizes, with varying specs and running on different platforms. There's plenty of scope for confusion, as well as plenty of choice.

Fantastic display; plenty of power; useful software additions

Auto brightness; speakers a little lacklustre; high price; plasticky build

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is currently the smallest of the Tab Pro tablets. It's an Android alternative to the iPad mini with Retina display. At £330 it costs a fair bit more than some of its Android rivals like the LG G Pad 8.3 and Nexus 7 , but is a quality tablet with some higher-end...

Super-sharp screen; Powerful processor; Great build quality

More expensive than key rivals; Oversaturated screen; Performance issues; software bugs

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4in review

Samsung unleashes a fantastic all-round Android tablet but it's expensive.

Big screen in portable chassis; Portable; Micro SD support; Secure Android

Middling battery life; Expensive

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

A charitable sort might call Samsung's approach to tablets comprehensive, but it could just as easily be described as scattershot. The past few years have seen the launch of 7-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, and now 12-inch devices aimed at a full range of budgets.

Galaxy tab pro 8.4 laggy

Lovely tab hindered by terrible lag when using magazine ux or multi window. Massive dissapponent considering it's same as my note 3 spec wise it's nowhere near as smooth.

Fantastic; light and quick; Difficult to use to inexperience

Samsung Galaxy TabPRO Tablet

Its a great tablet to use, very easy to use, carry around and generally have around. Great android apps, and no problems as of yet, good battery life as well.
