Alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 , Samsung is also introducing the Galaxy Buds 2 . The $149 earbuds replace the Galaxy Buds Plus as the entry-level position in the company’s lineup. That family now consists of the Galaxy Buds Pro, bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Buds 2.
Pros:
- Small, discreet design, Good audio quality, ANC and wireless charging
Cons:
- Mediocre ambient sound mode, Weak water resistance, No auto-pause when removing earbuds

The new Galaxy Buds 2 are comfortable, sound great and won't break the bank.
Pros:
- Very comfortable in the ear, Earbuds fit test works really well, Excellent sound quality, Plenty of color options, ANC works as expected
Cons:
- Battery life is just okay, White plastic case scratches very easily

With active noise cancellation and a more compact, comfortable design, the Galaxy Buds 2 are a clear upgrade on the Buds and Buds Plus
Pros:
- Lightweight and supremely comfortable
- Useful Galaxy-specific features
- Well-executed touch controls
Cons:
- Mediocre battery life
- Only IPX2 rated
