This game is a remake of the first Ratchet and Clank game, to co-inside with the movie release, but without the silly difficulty (thank god.) It's so fun and yet will keep both adults and kids gripped, despite it's kiddish look.

Ratchet and Clank is a terrific game that's a joy to play. It features exceptionally varied and interesting gameplay, from racing through dogfighting to puzzling - and, of course, plenty of platforming.
Great game, great service, my only gripe and it's only a small one is that for what should have been a brand new game the game case was a bit worn and had old sticker marks on it which I couldn't remove but other than that everything great.
If you've ever played the first Ratchet and Clank and enjoyed it then get this. Its the same but different. Sounds weird but believe me its worth it. Ties in with the motion picture. But you don't need to see it to get this. IMO videogame > movie
Overall I was really surprised by Ratchet & Clank , which feels like an odd thing to say. For such a storied franchise, there was a lot that could go wrong with this release. Aside from the first three titles in the series, the Ratchet & Clank series had varied in quality over the past five or so...
An excellent remake, with exceptionally good graphics, that borrows just enough from the later games to keep things interesting for new fans and old.
Fun, responsive third person action, with plenty of variety in scenarios and the series' famously inventive weapons; Amusing script and characters; Generously low price
None of the gameplay elements have that much depth to them; Very basic plot
Ratchet & Clank is a relic of yesteryear, a survivor from an age when anthropomorphic characters were all the rage in video games. Crash Bandicoot. Sonic the Hedgehog. Sly Cooper. Banjo. Conker. Daxter.
Ratchet & Clank is not an entirely new video game, but it is neither part of the epidemic of remasters for older titles that fail to add anything interesting to the package. Insomniac Games has done a great job of taking the best elements of the original while upgrading both the gameplay and the...
Reimagined take on a classic; Graphics quality; Infused with hope
Targeting is a little off; Some humor falls flat
Despite some wonky tie-ins with the film, this is a gorgeous, thoroughly great platformer and a worthy reboot for Ratchet & Clank.
Absolutely gorgeous graphics; Flat-out fun platforming and combat; A nice collection of inventive weaponry
Plot points from the movie feel shoehorned in; Some minor technical gripes
There's always a fear with reboots - or rather, re-imaginings, as Insomniac is inclined to call this one. Will it be faithful enough Will it change enough Where is that perfect balance to adequately bring it forward to today's standards while not letting it lose any of what originally made it...
Experience classic Ratchet & Clank again for the first time; High replayability through collectibles; upgrades; and challenge mode; Visually stunning recreation of a 14 year old game; So many ways to dispatch your enemies
Lacking story of relationship between Ratchet and Clank; Crates visually clipping/disappearing
