Panasonic Lumix GH6 review: Worth the wait
For Panasonic it seemed there was no point in producing an updated GH series camera until it could really up the game, offering something clearly more capable and better than the GH5. With the Lumix GH6, it has managed it - and then some.
Pros:
- Fairly priced
- Up to 5.7k recording at 60fps is impressive
- Charges via USB-C
- Four channel audio recording
- Well-positioned buttons
- Feels sturdily built
Cons:
- No direct recording to SSD (yet)
- It's no smaller than a full-frame camera
- CFExpress slot means only one SD card slot

Panasonic Lumix DC-GH6 review
The GH6 is a flexible and dependable video camera that offers all its modes in a wide selection of codecs and bit-rates. The sensor that delivers excellent video falls behind its best stills rivals, making it a less successful hybrid camera than its predecessors, and AF still presents challenges in video. Overall a dependable video production tool that's a pleasure to work with.
Pros:
- Small budget video projects
Cons:
- Photographers
