The OnePlus 8T is a beautiful phone. Glass and metal join forces with a great screen to impress, and it’s powerful too. The camera system may be a similar spec to plenty of OnePlus’s before it, but its implementation on the 8T is great, with images and video packing stacks of detail.

The OnePlus 8T makes up several of the weaknesses of the OnePlus 8, and for the price point, I do not see any serious drawbacks. The absence of wireless charging is not a deal breaker as I value fast efficient wired charging more, which OnePlus 8T offers.

When the OnePlus 8 arrived earlier this year, it has a few missing elements. The attractive price did mean you could overlook those, but there was always the risk of the phone falling behind once the rivals upped their game. And they have.

There’s not a lot of change for the OnePlus 8T VS the flagship launched a few months ago. The improvements here are very minimal VS the OnePlus 8, and there’s no clear performance jump this time around.
