The beautifully crafted, all-metal Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm f/1.8 is a strong performer in the optical department, in fact it is one of the sharpest lenses we have ever tested. It's surprisingly sharp wide open at f/1.8, reaching absolutely outstanding levels in the f/2.8-f/8 range.

Its price is pretty reasonable among the store I have viewed. It worked... For a week. Not the quality I was looking for. not very pretty, but they have plenty of use Five Stars does exactly as intened

Olympus keeps hitting them out of the park! Whether you're talking about their super fast cameras like the OM-D E-M5 or their optically superior lineup of  lenses like the 17mm f/1.8 , Olympus can't seem to stray too far from our office conversations.

The new fast optic from Olympus features an all-metal design and an equivalent focal length of 150mm - but how does it perform? Designed particularly with shooting portraits in mind, Olympus also says that the lens is ideal for shooting high-speed indoor sports.

You want an awesome portrait lens Look no further! This glass is it! It has a nice heft and the pictures come out great!

Simply put, we're big fans of this lens. Having used it with a variety of Micro Four Thirds cameras over the years, from the pro-grade Panasonic Lumix GH4 to the cheap-and-cheerful Olympus PEN E-PM2 , we're confident in proclaiming it one of the best in the system.

Will deliver excellent shots in nearly all circumstances. Aperture controls the DOF and leaves everything else unaffected. I do know a slightly better lens (the Zeiss 135/2 APO) but that one is for DSLRs. From that point of view, I won't even call it expensive.

There's a lot to like about the Olympus 75mm ƒ/1.8 M.Zuiko; simply amazing results for sharpness, great resistance to chromatic aberration, very low corner shading and near-zero distortion. Add in excellent build quality and good looks, and you have a package that's sure to please any photographer.
