Excellent value.

I purchased this particular lens for the zoom range producing a fast sharp focussed image. It does what it says on the 'tin', lightweigh, compact and easy to carry around. A lens which does what it sets out to do. I would also recommend this lens for portrait use.

Easily Interchangeable; Lightweight; Quick Focus; Sharp Focus

excellent value for $$

This is my first Olympus lens, moving from Nikon to M4/3 format. I have many Nikon lenses and have been shooting Nikon for years, I was not expecting much from this little lens at first. But I was very pleased with the results from this lens. It focuses fast, very sharp.

Good Image Quality

Besides the cons above, it is still a good light camera that can be used for both still images and HD videos. adding a lens COST a LOT !

- light weight - takes good quality images - takes good HD videos - it has lots of features and interchangeable lens; - nicely built and good looking - good battery life I took lots of still images and took several HD videos and the still images are VERY NICE and VERY CLEAR.

- auto-focus is not that good - need additional lens like 150mm (for zooming) - it doesn't have a grip on the front side like other cameras

Awesome Lens for the price!

"Ever since I moved to Micro Four Thirds, I was missing my Sony 55-200mm, but never really looked into similar alternatives - was too focused on primes. This Fall, I'm in a new city, and felt the need for a flexible telephoto lens - luckily for me, I found the Oly 40-150mm at an awesome sale!

Olympus Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 Telephoto Zoom Lens

The Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 lens was launched at the end of 2006 and is usually offered in twin-lens kits with Olympus DSLR cameras. Claimed as the smallest and lightest in its class, it fulfils the promises of the Four Thirds System in both respects.

Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6

At the 150mm end, the angle of view narrows to 8.2°, equivalent to that of a 300mm lens mounted to a 35mm full-frame camera.

I've had this for several years. I also have a range of other Olympus lenses for the EM1 and EM10 M2, including the 12- 40 Pro, and a couple of primes . My favorite is the 14-42 EZ pancake. It's convenient, and very sharp. This 40-150 is a totally different story. It's not close to being sharp.

Just dove into micro 4/3rd pool..didn't hurt. Lost a lot of weight though.

Cameta listed as mfr refurbished......Arrived in Original Olympus lens box with both caps and was indistinguishable from new. Works as intended. Put on a micro 4/3 Pen camera, and I'm liking the light weight and fine pix vs DSLR bag bulk. Left Olympus for Canon in summer 1975 and now I'm back.

Lightweight telephoto Zoom

The image quality of this lens is quite good and very sharp. It focuses easily, and produces good color. It's lightweight, making it very easy to carry around. I've used it to make some beautiful portraits. As a $99 add-on, it was an incredible value.
