This 11.1x super-zoom lens for Nikon DX format SLRs costs around £590, sports silent internal focusing and Vibration Reduction II, which promises to allow hand-held shots to be taken at shutters speeds up to four stops slower than would be possible otherwise.
I received excellent support as I needed specifics on delivery times and on co-ordinating it with an overseas trip. Smifu gave me a way that enabled me to have a lens that complemented what I currently had while waiting for the new lens which only missed arriving in time by a few hours.
It's complete package. Fantastic Fstop great focal length range. It's just perfect. I have tried 55-300 even though the Fstop is not that great as this lense it produces fantastic images. Saving to buy one.
This item is great, the first version was a great sharp lens, but the zoom creep was really annoying, but no more with version two which has the zoom lock. A great addition to the flagship of great optical range all-in-one lens for DSLR.

This is another of the NIKON 'G' lenses that are manufactured without an aperture ring for use on Ni
Inexpensive, contrasty, user friendly lens; A bargain at this price point
Some barrel distortion; plastic lens mount
While I hope to create a full Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR II Lens, my first priority is to include results from this lens in the lens comparison tools available on the site.
The AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR II is a minor redesign of a previous lens. It features a new zoom mechanism for reducing zoom creep (the lens slides forward when tilted).
You want an all-in-one lens with good build quality; You'd like effective image stabilisation; You'd like a lens that requires no readjustment when you fit polarisers and graduated filters.
