No regret to get this lens to replace as my kit lens for D90. I choose this lens because of the zoom range which is perfect for walk-about photoshoot.

I've had this lens for three years now and it is the lens that is on my camera most of the time. I've taken lots of pictures with it ranging from landscapes to indoors and as a travel walk around. I find it to be sharp and well built - no regrets here.

The Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 10-24mm f3.5-4.5G ED is a well-performing and thoroughly enjoyable ultrawide-to-wide zoom lens. It's remarkably sharp in the image centre throughout the entire focal range, with edge sharpness also being commendably high at most settings, except wide open at the 10mm end.
This 10-24mm lens, offers an expansive focal range, giving a 15-36mm equivalent (after Nikon's 1.5x crop factor). You'll get a variable aperture range of f/3.5-4.5 and the Nikon 10-24mm also offers Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) which supplies quick, responsive and silent focus with the motor also...
Nikon has done well with its new ultra-wide angle zoom lens: it's a sharp lens, with corners that don't get significantly soft. CA performance is good, probably excellent on a D3, D300 or other Nikon body that employs CA reduction.
