Excellent service, excellent delivery, and great price.

I ordered the new Nikon AF-S 80-400mm lens from Smifu late on Wednesday, and it was delivered the following Monday morning. Mark from Smifu in Brisbane was so very pleasant and helpful, both on the phone and via emails. I have already recommended Smifu to some of my photography friends.

Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S Nikkor

I've just completed my full field test of this lens. Here's the "Executive Summary": The AF-S 80-400mm f4.5-5.6 VR is a significant and worthwhile upgrade from its predecessor. It's an incredibly versatile lens that will meet most of the needs for many, many nature and wildlife photographers.

Solid optical quality throughout the entire focal range; very "hand-holdable&quot

Just acceptable build quality; horrendous tripod collar; poorly designed hood

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR

For a 5x zoom, the AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR is an excellent performer. Centre sharpness is very good to excellent at all apertures throughout the zoom range, with the borders also being impressively sharp at most zoom settings.

Nikon AF-S 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Review

As the Nikon AF-S 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR's £2500 list price suggests, there is a lot of technology packed into Nikon's latest telephoto zoom. Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens - Brand New review

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens - Brand New review

The iPhone 14 is better than its predecessor, but it's also more expensive and doesn't have many significant upgrades.

Even faster, with a better camera and more features.

Charger is optional. Lacks telephoto lens. Price has been increased.

Really good all-around lens

I have been using this lens for more than a year now and it stays on my camera all the time except for when I have special projects. I am mostly into birds and other wildlife. This lens is light enough for me to carry all day and sharp enough for great detail. Contrast and detail are very good.
