I think this lens is one of the best lens that Nikon has ever come out with
I think this lens is one of the best lens that Nikon has ever come out with , you can use it indoor with or without flash , out doors and for every type of photography. This is the best lens you can ever buy.

Never leaves my D800E
i purchased this lens to use doing Street Photography because it's less obtrusive than a 24-70. I have not regretted that decision. The sharpness and Bokeh are phenomenal and coupled with to 800E's resolution make this easily one of the best lenses Nikon has ever made.

Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 lense
Two comments. Great service and pricing from Crutchfield. Crutchfield follow and assistance to question and help is great. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.4 lens is a very sharp lens. Colors are great.
Pros:
- Sharp, clear and solid
- Great FX lens for landscape/scenic
- Great for travel street shots
Cons:
- little heavy
- however not so much that you don't get used to it

Before I start to review this lens, I would like to reveal a little about my photography background. I shoot Nikon, Canon and Fuji... I know most of the reviews on this lens are quite good. That's only because this is one of the best 35mm lens Nikon knows how to make.

Made the correct choice for me
The requirement was for a fast mid range lens, relatively unobtrusive, for environmental portraits, occasional landscape & a walkabout lens that is robust and weather sealed. Potentially replacing 50mm f1.4G which I find too tight too frequently.
Pros:
- Rugged
- Sharp Focus
- Strong Construction

this lens changed the quality of the images we were putting out there. the depth of field you can accomplish with such a wide focal length is amazing. shoot this in 2.8 or lower, get close to your subject, and you're going to love it.
Pros:
- sharp
- depth of field
- awesome quality
Cons:
- can be slow focusing..

If you were only aware of first-party lenses from Canon and Nikon, you'd be forgiven for thinking that 35mm f/1.4 lenses are almost impossible to manufacture. Why else would they cost in excess of $1,600, when 35mm f/1.8 and f/2 lenses go for a third or less of the price?

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4G Lens - Brand New review
The AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.4G was, at its introduction, hailed by Nikon as 'redefining the standard lens concept'. It turns out that in many ways that was no idle boast - in almost all respects the lens is clearly improved over its predecessor, the AF-Nikkor 50mm F1.4D .
Pros:
- Extremely even image quality across the frame, even on FX, Improved image quality over 50mm F1.4D at large apertures, Exceptional image quality when stopped down, Essentially no lateral chromatic aberration, Near-silent AF-S focus with full-time manual override
Cons:
- Slightly soft at large apertures, Somewhat susceptible to flare, Longitudinal (bokeh) chromatic aberration, most visible at large apertures, Vignetting at large apertures on full frame (essentially disappears by F2.8), Slower autofocus than the screw-drive AF-Nikkor 50mm F1.4D

Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.4G Lens Review
Hopped on a plane to Brisbane and used this lens all Christmas with my D7000. That's what I found best about the lens, portability, suitable to most shots, and great professional quality.
