Perfect for Nikon DX
Great lens. Works perfectly. Returned it though. Not much use for the effect.

Bending the rules....
Love my new specialty glass for fun photos that "bend" trees, buildings and exaggerate my subject matter. This is not an everyday lens but if you have some extra cash for some excellent glass to add to your Nikon lens collection, you can't go wrong here. Don't be afraid to get really close..
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Durable
- Easily Interchangeable
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Good in low light
- Lightweight

DX Fisheye.
This is a Niche lens for DX cameras. It's about as wide a lens you're going to get for a Nikon.

Great almost fisheye...
On a DX body minimal edge fall off, not the super wide angles of years ago however not the price of them. Anyone that needs the maximum wide angle for a DX body this is the lens. Nikon Qualify. I have used only Nikon product since 1964 and am a retired Medical Photographer.

Nikon 10.5mm fisheye
Spectacular perspective with 180 degree diagonal angle of view on any Nikon crop sensor DSLR. This amazing lens will change the way you look at the world and how you photograph it.

I love this lens
I love this lens. It's probably my new favourite, even if not the most practical, and with its small size and relatively slight weight it never leaves my kit bag. My Tokina 11-20mm f/2.8 is a fantastic lens and very wide, but the extremely close focusing distance and 180 degree FoV of this fisheye...

Fun gimick lens
This little lens is just right for some flavor shots, but certainly not the only lens you should own. It's a little slow, a little soft, but has all the character and fun-factor you'll need to sweeten up a wedding reception. If you're thinking of buying it, do it! You'll be glad you did.

Good lens
Good lens even years later after having dropped and broken it. It still works and produces a clear image even though i can see a concoidal fracture inside.

I was debating with myself for about a year before I finally decided to buy this lens. It is a very specialized lens and can't be used that often. At least that's what I initially thought about this lens.
Pros:
- Very sharp in the center
- rivals the best primes !! (well it is a prime too
- It is very close focusing - 14cm- and with the extreme depth of field you can shot pictures from literally inside flowers
- Max aperture of 2.8 comes handy shooting in the twilight zone
Cons:
- CA - but can be easily corrected in PS-ACR
- Other than that : NONE
- Well
- you have to be carefull not to get your hands/feet in the picture but that is not a weakness of the lens
- but comes with 180° diagonal coverage

I already had a superwide for my D300, but when a friend had to sell this lens in a hurry so his wife would let him buy some other lens, I purchased it for only $250. This lens is really sharp and might be one of the best fisheyes built with respect to optics.
Pros:
- Great DX Fisheye that can be shaved and work well on FX
- This is pro-level glass in my opinion and a lot of fun
Cons:
- The only con might be that people sometimes overuse a fisheye for it's distortion
