Nikkor 10.5 F/2.8
It can set mood by changes in light over a wide area. I've got a shot of a domed enclosure taken by laying the camera on the floor and shooting straight up, it gets lots of comments in my portfolio.
Pros:
- Great lens
- Getting really close to the subject works.

- None other than the exposed glass

What a great lens. Don't listen to people that tag this lens as a lens that is exclusive to skateboarder/snowboarder photography. This is a great lens that allows you to take some pretty unbelievable shots.
Pros:
- f/2.8 maximum aperature
- sharp..even wide open
- ultra-wide
Cons:
- Build quality left wanting
- don't lose your lens cap

Useful lens
I just started using the lens this week. It was so easy to use but have to be extra careful not to get too close to human subject. Fun also to use during party.

Great lense for my Nikon.
Love the effect this lense does to buildings and landscape. The bending effect is why I purchased it. Also is a great wide angle lense if you take into effect the bending of edge subjects.

Eye Opening Experience.
It is a great lens. The first look through the viewfinder was unbelievable. The fisheye distortion effect takes some getting used to, but it is a great lens to experiment with, broadening all perspectives. Very clear images. A great lens!

Great Lens -- Not Just For Fun!!!
"A lot of people have said not to use this lens for wide angle landscapes. However, I would like to argue that one. This lens makes superb wide angle landscapes if you know how to use it correctly. Keeping your horizon on the midpoint of the lens ensures it will not be distorted.

Takes some getting used to!
Alright, so the lens does what it's supposed to. If you're taking photos of skating, then this is the lens you need. The manual focus can be a little difficult to get used to, but if you have a camera with an in-focus motor, then this lens takes no skill to master at all.
