A subtle update, but the Nikon D5600 is a strong all-rounder at a reasonable price.
Outstanding image quality; Sophisticated autofocus; Long battery life;
Some functions are awkward to access; Slow shot-to-shot times in live view mode;

I bought this camera for my grandson's birthday. He has a talent for photography but only had basic cameras. He is thrilled with it and says that it has lots of features that he wished for. Very well made and impressive.
My first experience with a Nikon camera was the D80. I am far from an accomplished photographer, but I made an upgrade to the D5600 last month. I could not be more thrilled. The ease of use, wi-fi, blue tooth, special effects, the display screen has been more than I could have hoped for.
Bought for my daughter, who did lots of research before selecting this one. Does everything she wanted. Perfect. Battery doesn't last too long if using the screen to take or review pictures, which should have been advised in store. Otherwise an excellent choice
I bought this for my partner who loves gadgets and taking photo's. He absolutely loves this camera. Loves the quality. Loves the fact that it can be used as a 'normal' camera or digital camera by viewing through the screen. Pictures go straight to phone which saves time. Excellent Camera!!!
Great camera and lens combo with plenty of features for a first time DSLR owner. This is my first DSLR and have been very satisfied with the results. Two different lens options give you versatility to shoot various subjects and the features of the camera allow for growth as you learn more about...
Two Lenses Great Sensor Plenty of room for personal growth in photography
Fairly expensive for a first time DSLR buyer
The lure of the Nikon D5600 DSLR is that it is an affordable, entry-level route into interchangeable lens photography, for those whose heads are not immediately turned by the latest desirable mirrorless model.
Built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; Angle adjustable touch-screen LCD; Optional external microphone can be added to improve sound quality; Massive range of directly compatible lenses and accessories
Battery life is modest; Full HD video only (no 4K); Comparably low burst rate
