As an entry level photographer, this is all you need, great value getting the twin lenses compared to buying separately. Easy to use as well. If you want a camera that has all the bits and bobs but don't want to go overboard, get this one!

I've had this camera a few months now and I can honestly say I love it! Best camera I've had and well worth the money Super photos, battery life and overall fantastic!!! So please I took the plunge and bought it
My first DSLR and I have not been disappointed. It is at the budget end of the market but has a great 24mp sensor and most of the bells and whistles a beginner to serious photography will need. I have been impressed with the photo quality and it has some great built in help for those learning.
A great price for a great product, often referred to as an entry-level camera, but interms of features and functionality far from it. It does have in built tutorials that talk you through the process of the type of photo you are trying to take, so entry in that sense, but that's all.
Being a beginner photographer I wanted something to last but not make me go bankrupt. My dad has a mirror less camera and it's was to skinny and thin, I thought he wasted his money.
Easy to use; Compact; Build quality; Battery life
Screen size
Easy camera to use great pictures but no remote shutter accessories only SnapBridge.
When Nikon announced the D3500, photographers complained that nothing had really changed from the D3400. (Akin to complaints when the D3400 had so many D3300 similarities.) I've now tested the D3500 extensively - and I disagree. It has its flaws, no doubt. But this camera is better than the D3400.
The Software for this camera is horrifically bad. Within 4 months of owning it (and only really using it for one vacation) It's not possible to get pictures off this camera. Direct USB connections to 3 different computers, Bluetooth to 2 different phones, Snapbridge to 2 different phones, none of it...
This is my first DSLR. I prefer looking through the view finder and I was not disappointed when I started using this camera. i especially like the guide and the auto feature. It is fun trying to take photos that are better than the auto feature.I like the size and weight and the texture of the grip.
The Nikon D3500 has been proven to perform really well with external flash. It is lightweight and small, which makes it a well-packaged bundle, particularly while vacationing. Also, recent buyers claim that the autofocus performance and high ISO are both ideal for pictures, and since it allows...
Has an affordable price; Very compact so easy to take places; High megapixels provide you with great image quality; Also has a shooting guide present inside for beginners; You can enjoy automatic image transferring through Bluetooth
No mic input; Fixed LCD omits touch support; Live view focus has a slight contrast that is not good for video
