Need for Speed Rivals (PS4) - Review

Good and evil is always a pleasant dichotomy to work with, especially in games where such choices are a primary gameplay mechanic. While Need for Speed Rivals doesn't feature the depth and complexity of narrative-driven games like inFamous or Mass Effect , the good/evil dynamic is a well-realized...

Need for Speed: Rivals

Need for Speed: Rivals is the Dark Souls of racing games. Now I know what you're thinking but just bear with me for a moment. In the fictional open-world of Redview County illegal street racing is king and the cops fight back with supercars of their own.

Need for Speed: Rivals

Need for Speed: Rivals is a wholly enjoyable open-world racer. The driving is solid, its streets are a joy to explore, and its racing assignments--though a bit repetitive at times--are incentive enough to keep you coming back for more.

Absolutely gorgeous; evolving next-gen environments; Redview is replete with both AI and real-life rivals; Some of the slickest controls this side of a Burnout game

The few reasons youre given to upgrade your car; Impact damage is dealt haphazardly

Need For Speed Rivals

series has been a constant on consoles for almost 20 years, and while there have been many ups and downs for the series, it has always drawn interest from racing fans. The series has also seen its fair share of developers, from EA Canada, Slightly Mad Studios, Criterion, and now Ghost Games.

PS4 Review - 'Super Motherload'

At the launch of the PlayStation 4, when Sony can point out how committed it is indie games, Super Motherload stands out among the initial offering. It didn't get the benefit of being free for PlayStation Plus subscribers, like Contrast .

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

Definitely the best version of Tomb Raider and it shows exactly what the new generation of consoles has in store for us in the very near future.

Great game

I like the graphics but I don't like the fact that it won't allow you to change the controls on the remote. For wxame I like using the up/down buttons instead if the joy stick.

Challenging; Easy to learn; Fun To Play; Good Audio; Graphics

Poor/No Multiplayer Mode
