Mortal Kombat X review – get over?here!

The best new Mortal Kombat for years, with a fighting game experience that's as generous with the content as it is with the gore.

The OTT violence is gloriously varied and just tongue-in-cheek enough not to offend; Varied characters and disciplines, with plenty of game modes; Story mode and Krypt are especially good

The combat is still simplistic by fighting game standards and there are still almost no genuinely new ideas; Some ugly character art and a lack of explanation for different disciplines

"The Bombass Mortal Kombat X"

Mortal Kombat X is the tenth version of the epic fighting game produced by NetherRealm Studios. It has been my favorite fighting game right after Tekken and they have proved why they are the best according to me. I got it one day after the release date (that's how much of a fan I am) and WHOA!!!

The graphics are incredible and the fatalities are like never before

The violence in this game is almost too much but its Mortal Kombat what would you expect

Mortal Kombat X Amazing

Much improved from the previous Mortal Kombat game and follows on in terms of story. Fighting mechanics also much improved and like how it's not simply a button mashing game. Wish the story was fleshed out more and the exclusion of some classic characters would usually disappoint but the new...

Mortal Kombat X (PlayStation 4) Review

Perhaps most well-known for its bloody and extremely violent nature, and the rather stiff animation and combat style, Mortal Kombat games have always had a certain stigma associated with them.

Mortal Kombat X

Back in the 90s, when video game violence was far tamer than it is today, Mortal Kombat pushed the boundary in every regard. Its violence was not just part of its appeal, but was a big reason why kids would wait hours on end to get a chance to play it in arcades.

Easy to learn fighting system; Visually compelling brutality; Lots of unlockable content

Cut scenes in Story Mode a tad long; Lacking a few iconic characters

Mortal Kombat X offers everything a fan could ask from except possibly their favorite character. The graphics and animations received a huge boost thanks to the power of the new consoles, and while not perfect, the net code is vastly improved over previous NetherRealm fighting games.

Mortal Kombat X

If the third time's the charm, then the tenth time must be the camp. On April 14th, 2015 NetherRealm studios unleashed Mortal Kombat X on all of EarthRealm's inhabitants. After nine previous main-title installments, many were concerned that the new title would be more of the same with a new coat of...

Game Review: Mortal Kombat X

Four years has passed since the revival of the last Mortal Kombat game in 2011, which set a new benchmark with the one-on-one beat ‘em' ups, not to mention that the gameplay was faster, fluid and smoother than ever before.

Fast & Fluid Gameplay; Enjoyable story (Although Short; Looks Great; Fulfilling Roster; 3 Fight Variations For Each Character; Packed With Online & Offline Modes; Loads Of Unlockable Rewards

Meaningless Microtransaction; Campaign Half The Length of MK9; Online Spammers; Flawed Rewards in Factions
