PlayStation 4 Monster Hunter World CPPS4-0110 review

Monster Hunter World is an incredibly fun game. It’s fun with friends, even though the matchmaking system is wonky at times. It’s fun even when you are getting your ass kicked to the point of frustration — these moments will drive you to get better.

Eat, Slay, Love with Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter has always been a game about choices: What leggings do I make from my incredibly precious resources to make turning other monsters into leggings easier, what armor skills should I build toward, and probably the most common of all, "What was I thinking when I thought I could attack...

Great game, fun, esp for single player, but not enough players playing online to make this a viable go-to-game

This game is good, first ever Gundam that's been brought to North America (it had been Japanese release only) However the draw back is, for online game play, you would have to join Asia servers since there's not a lot of players that play locally in the North America. Hence, it'll lag.

To answer the three most pressing questions around Monster Hunter World: Yes, its creators have made a notoriously inaccessible franchise into something that, if not totally accessible, somewhat resembles it. Yes, it's still filled with countless menus and tough-to-parse mythos.

One of the best games I've played this generation

MHW is challenging but always fair, and any problem can be overcome with the right tools and enough determination. Monster Hunter: World review – how to hunt your dragon

After years of being pigeonholed as a cult classic, Monster Hunter reinvents itself as one of the most exciting new online games of the year.

The seamless open world works great, making hunts and animal behaviour much more organic; Huge range of weapons and equipment, well-integrated online options, and tons of content

Still some accessibility issues, especially in terms of explaining more obscure concepts. Backdrops can feel a little sterile; distracting object clipping and fussy controls

"Must have game."

Awsome battleroyal mode, great multiplayer, just watch out for the sweats. They are hitting pretty hard to prestige up.
