It is still the flight simulator of choice for enthusiasts and pilots alike. The range of aircraft is fantastic. The editing software that comes with the simulator is also top notch. It is just a shame that the tutorials were not fully subtitled.

this might be a good game if you ever,ever got past installing it. Bits and pieces of guages and clocks all over different drives in my pc seems to be all i can get from this.A complete waste of £20 and a weekend.

As with most PC games, the longevity of any title is down to the mod community. Flight Simulator X is one of those titles, with First Class Simulators releasing a staggering amount of add-ons to keep you playing this epic simulator and to let fans have a go on some of their favourite aircraft.

Initally I add a lot of problems with a couple of features. But thanks to the reasonable tech support and trial and error I got all features working. This is like most add-ons not a simple load and forget, you need to do a couple of extra steps which is not detailed to get it all working.
