Excellent product , good quality sound and both spoken and received sound quality – Well worth the money , I have even bought a new one as a spare
I had an H530 which I used daily for about a year, then the mic quit working. (Short/intermittent). I bought the H540 to replace it & now have the same problem after only about 4 months. The quality in the mic is very poor. Wire breaks way too easy. Will be sending this back to Logitech.
Comparing this headset 540 vs the 340, and found the build quality of the 540 was significantly better. The USB plug doesn't look like it will fall apart anytime soon. I found that frustrating about the 340. Also more quick and easy features, such as adjusting volume and turning mic on or off.
Cable is too stiff and cannot be used for long periods. The headphones sound clarity is OK however it could be better.
I am a medical transcriptionist. I bought this based on the recommendation of the lesser priced headset and these were offered as an upgrade. They are uncomfortable, gave me a headache and the earcup rubbed my ears raw. The sound quality is not any better than the $10.00 earphones I had been using.
I just reviewed the Rapoo Wireless Stereo Headset H8030 the other day, and I remarked how not very often it was that I got to review a non-Bluetooth, desktop-or-laptop only headset. Well, it looks like when it rains, it pours.
