This mouse is slower than my G203, good for casual use but not fast enough for competitive FPS gaming. Battery life, portability is amazing, but still not 100% in performance/reaction time.
The tantalizing prospect of freeing your mouse from its unwieldy tether is easily attainable for most casual PC users, who can pick up a decent wireless mouse for less than $30. But that's not the case for gamers. They must face a painful tradeoff: Eliminating the physical connection between mouse and PC ensures greater freedom of movement, but usually at the expense of the accuracy required for fast-twitch gaming. The new Logitech G603 Wireless Gaming Mouse ($69.99) is no different. Although it boasts Logitech's improved 2.4Ghz wireless transmission technology, it still suffers from occasionally noticeable lag even when performing everyday non-gaming tasks. Gamers who value pinpoint accuracy above all else will want to examine the Logitech G Pro ($129.95 at Amazon) , our current Editors' Choice for gaming mice, but if your biggest pet peeve about PC gaming is a constraining mouse cord, the G603 deserves a close look. Few Buttons, but Easy Customization The G603 is rather plain, e...
If you're willing to give up lighting, oodles of buttons, and extremely precise control for greater mousing freedom when you play, the Logitech G603 won't disappoint.
Good accuracy for a wireless mouse; Unobtrusive design; Long-lasting battery; Easy-to-use customization software
Lacks lighting; Only five buttons
Logitech's Lightspeed technology allows for unprecedented wireless responsiveness and reliability; that's what the company claimed when its PowerPlay mat first came out, at any rate.
Comfortable design; Fair price; Great wireless performance
No rechargeable battery; Fewer features than other Logitech mice
My Son is well into his gaming ad this mouse is exactly what he wants, very pleased with it
I have been a hardcore fps gamer for more than 10 years. this is the BEST "Casual" gaming mouse for me. pro 1.battery life is insane, way better than the g403 or g703 2.robust as fuq IMO logitech>steel series > razer 3.
The G603 is probably best for someone who wants a great precise mouse for productivity, and who plays slow paced or strategy type games where it's weight won't be such as issue. The weight comes from the 2 AA batteries used to run it, although it can be run on one, I wouldn't recommend it.
Works great. Easy to setup and fast response time.
The Logitech G603 wireless gaming mouse is cut from the same cloth as the G613 keyboard. It's plain and practical, and isn't intended to grab much attention.
Today we kick off a trio of Logitech reviews; we'll be taking a look at their latest in the war against wires; the Logitech G603, G703 and G903. We'll start off with the Logitech G603, designed to be a budget option offering gaming performance with the option of also extending battery life to 18...
