The Logitech G560 gaming speaker system demonstrates the raw potential of what RGB-enabled gaming speakers could offer. It doesn't quite manage to fully harness that potential - but that potential is definitely there.
- Solid sound
- Mood lighting is cool
- Doesn't really deliver on its potential
- Expensive for what it is
Logitech G560 Speaker System review: Bold idea, iffy execution
The Logitech G560 gaming speaker system demonstrates the raw potential of what RGB-enabled gaming speakers could offer. It doesn’t quite manage to fully harness that potential - but that potential is definitely there. With gaming mice, keyboard, headsets, mousepads, components and even select monitors now incorporating RGB illumination, it’s sometimes difficult to think of any part of a modern gaming setup that can’t come with configurable lighting attached. Gaming brands like Logitech G, Corsair and ROG are always on the lookout for new categories and form-factors to branch into - and any experiment could soon become a mainstay.- Solid sound

hit and miss
great speakers when they work, but took me a lot of time to get the driver updates and even then sometimes they wouldn't work when connecting to the pc via usb. hit and miss as they have great sound but I have a brand new windows 10 laptop and they don't always connect which is frustrating
Great light, decent sounsd, but everything else sucks.
I was really excited to buy this set. I have a Corsair Ecosystem but no other company has speakers with ambient light as beautiful as these. Unfortunately, that's all about I has going for it. There was an update that fixed the OP subwoofer, so the 2.1 sound is great.
Logitech G560 Lightsync Speaker System review – Are they all flash
When it comes to getting sound out of your computer, Logitech is a beast. Logitech is one of the biggest players in the game. Ironically, though, the company has never released a set of gaming speakers – until now.

The Logitech G560 are designed to be the dream set of gaming speakers, offering a compact design, powerful sound, and RGB lighting that reacts to in-game events. In practice, they're a bit of a mixed bag.- Great for gaming

- Compact and attractive design
- Way too much bass
- High price tag
- RGB can be distracting
- Jarring volume controls

Logitech G560 review
Back in 2013, Logitech moved its G-Series gear into the new ‘Logitech G’ sub-brand (one of five under the company’s umbrella), signaling a newfound dedication to developing top-shelf tech for PC gamers. Since then, the G family has expanded to include numerous mice, keyboards, and other peripherals built to optimize your gaming experience, and look awesome doing it. The new G560 speakers reflect this philosophy, packing an abundance of unique features into a powerful 2.1 setup. We spent some time evaluating them, and as we expected, they’re pretty impressive. The box for the G560 was bigger and heavier than we expected. Turns out, that’s thanks to the hefty subwoofer, which measures a whopping 16 inches tall and weighs more than 12 pounds. The stereo speakers are smaller (about 6 x 6 x 5 inches) and weigh just a few pounds each. They’ve got a cool, distinctive design featuring circular grilles mounted in oblong plastic casings with a brushed finish. Each speaker is equipped with two LE...- Powerful sound
- Highly customizable EQ
- DTS: X virtual surround sound
- Integration with other Logitech G sync gear
- Tons of cool lighting options
- Short list of supported light-sync titles currently
- Software can be confusing

Logitech G560 Gaming Speakers Review: Loud and Proud
The Logitech G560's lighting ambitions sometimes outstrip their performance. I wish you could disable the subwoofer and have finer control over the volume at low levels. Beyond that, though, the G560 is an impressive first crack at a dedicated gaming speaker.- Excellent sound
- Ambitious lighting options
- Robust software
- Bluetooth connectivity
- No way to disable subwoofer
- Screen sampling can be overly aggressive
