One of the best Lego games of the entire series, with a dizzying array of bizarre characters and some genuinely compelling gameplay for younger players.

The LEGO games have utilised a vast array of franchises over the years, from huge properties like Star Wars and Harry Potter individually, to the 1980s TV shows Knight Rider and the A-Team in LEGO Dimensions.

This feels like a true sequel to 2013's LEGO Marvel Super Heroes , and that is both a positive and a negative. Just like its predecessor, it is stuffed to bursting with fan-service and it delivers the signature fun LEGO gameplay elements that have always been core to these titles.

A few technical hiccups and minor quibbles aside, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 tops off a great year for comic book properties with a fun, varied adventure.

doesn't deviate much from the established LEGO template, but its wide variety of settings, heroes, and abilities make it constantly fun to play, especially in co-op. The combat is still quite simple and it's sometimes difficult to tell what you should do next, but the story is lighthearted and fun...

These Lego games may not be the best ever games released, but they are loveable in their own way!

If there's one thing you can guarantee during these times of uncertainty, it's that the next LEGO game is never more than a few months away. You can more or less rely on them being superhero flavoured nowadays too, which is fine by us.
