Back in 2013, LEGO City Undercover was released exclusively on Wii U, making it inaccessible to many fans of LEGO games. Fortunately, it has now been remastered for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Switch, opening it up for a much larger audience.
Remastered graphics look great | Decreased load times | Co-op mode | Entertaining story and characters
Basically the same game you played on Wii U in 2013; with a fresh coat of paint
Lego City Undercover's console exclusivity has now ended as the Grand Theft Auto like LEGO City Undercover has finally gone multiplatform.
I'm a big Lego fan and this game is great. Arrived the next day can't stop playing it
While exclusives are still an important part of the industry, it's always a little sad to see a great game back the wrong horse and miss out on a chunk of the audience that it might have otherwise found. Case in point, Lego City Undercover .
Chicken gliding
Trying to find that second motorcycle wheel
Traveller's Tales brings its tried and tested Lego game formula to the world of undercover policing, and produces one of its most consistently enjoyable and amusing titles for quite some time.
Bricking the law
Great humour; Pop culture references sit well with adults; Missions are varied; as are the puzzles; Lots to collect
Some technical issues; Frank Honey gets annoying
LEGO City Undercover originally appeared on the Wii U back in 2013. Now that the console is becoming obsolete, LEGO and Telltale have decided to re-release the game on current-gen systems. I'm not a fan of games being re-released for an easy cash grab, but I'm willing to let this one slide.
Four years ago, TT Fusion gave us another bite at the LEGO apple with a massive open world unlike any they'd ever built before. As Editor David Roberts called it, a Grand Theft Auto-scale game, but suitable for the whole family.
Laugh out loud storyline; Looks great at 1080p; New UI is an improvement; Massive world to explore; 100+ vehicles to play with
No co-op puzzles or storylines; Floaty controls; Load times are still excessive
Amazing Game! Very Funny and Fun To Play!
