Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SATA SSD Review

After just a few tests, it's very apparent that the Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SSD is a very worthy performer, replacing Kingston's once mid-range enthusiast favorite HyperX 3K SSD.

Enthusiast level performance; Gorgeous red enthusiast design; 240GB and 480GB relatively affordable; Enthusiast level performance; Gorgeous red enthusiast design; 240GB and 480GB relatively affordable

Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SSD Upgrade Bundle Review

It wasn't until the other day that I actually realized I was barely paying attention to differences between SATA II and SATA III SSDs. I rarely benchmark any of the first generation drives; there is no sense, because the differences between then and now are numerically miles apart.

Exceptional Value; Bundle Price is Equal to most other prices for Single Drive; Eye Appealing Design; Acronis Software; Multi-Bit Screwdriver; USB 3.0 Enclosure; 7mm design; 3.5" Backplate; 7 to 9mm extender

3 Year Warranty; 1,000,000 MTBF

Kingston HyperX Savage SSD (240GB) review: Definitely an SSD worth considering

Kingston is one of the known names in the Indian market thanks to its memory products such as RAM sticks, flash storage drives, wireless storage drives and so on. So much so, that even street vendors claim to be selling ‘Kingston' branded pen drives, which are obviously fake.

Kingston HyperX Savage SSD 480Gb Storage Review

We were not really expecting this level of performance or quality from the Kingston HyperX Savage. Not that we expected a lacklustre performance or maybe even mildly exciting, we just never expected to be so wow'd.

HyperX Savage 240GB SSD is well designed gaming storage. In all our tests results were good and in most cases we could see higher performance than that declared by Kingston. There were no problems with compatibility and everything was working as expected.

High performance; Looks great; Free cloning software; 3.5″ bracket; Three year warranty
