I remember when the first Kingdom Hearts game was announced and the Disney/Square Enix (then Squaresoft) crossover was met with more than a few raised eyebrows and a healthy dose of cautious optimism.
Overall, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is a title only diehard series fans will find an interest in. The movie can easily be glossed over, Dream Drop Distance is one of the average titles in the series and A Fragmentary Passage , while fun, will only tease you with a new experience...
A brief teaser before the main event, a game only for true fans of the series.
This game contains kingdom hearts dream drop distance (which is a remake for the PS4 from a Nintendo 3ds game) and 0.2 birth by sleep: a fragmentary passage which is basically a short playable extract from after the birth by sleep game (which was on the 2.5 remix for PS3 I think) and which leads on...
not much disney character gameplay
These days, it's easy to let political frustration well up a bit. We like to think that, given the keys to the city, we'd do better than a real politician. "It's so simple!" you might say. "Give people what they ask for, take care of them, and there won't be any problems.
Realistic political strife; Great attention to detail; Strong storyline where your actions matter; Beautiful interplay between the game's many different parts
Litany of technical issues; Realism can slow down play and cause frustration; Some moving parts occasionally feel random
Ahh, Kingdom Hearts. Beloved to many, and a convoluted mess of a series to plenty of others, what started as a cute Disney and Squaresoft collaboration that had fans of animated movies and Final Fantasy jumping all over the first entry in 2002 has developed into quite the confusing affair.
Awesome graphics with large landscapes that you can get lost exploring - one of the best installments of the series!
The keyblade to your heart.
Dream Drop Distance HD is just fantastic; Great promise in Birth by Sleep 0.2; Gameplay is excellent in both games
Boss fights can be tough; The ‘mirrors' section in Birth by Sleep 0.2
