My kids loved it, this made my XBOX one Kinect worthwhile

My kids loved it, this made my XBOX one Kinect worthwhile. otherwise, I was frustrated why I spent my money on purchasing Kinect when there is no game available for XBOX one.

I got this game yesterday and it's a blast! Everything works very well, there are a few hiccups, but overall it's very awesome. You will need a pretty good amount of room to play most of these games however. Wake Racing can be played sitting down, the others all require standing.

No Random Online Multiplayer matchups? Seriously? I agree with everything the critics are saying - much of the content was done better in previous iterations. How does that happen? Bowling was better in the original Kinect Sports released 4 years ago. Tennis was better and smoother in KS2.

Review: Kinect Sports Rivals is a personal best, if given enough space

Rare has overcome nearly all preconceptions of motion control - Rivals is responsive, accurate, deep, reliable and well integrated. It just needs the space.

Deep; tactical gameplay; Reliable motion controls; A cohesive and charismatic game world

Kinect still requires a large space to operate smoothly; Wake Racing feels better suited to controller play

Kinect Sports Rivals - Review

Microsoft introduced Kinect Sports in 2010 as a way for Xbox 360 owners who just picked up the Kinect accessory to experience a variety of sports-themed mini-games, which included Bowling, Table Tennis and Boxing.

Classic and new sports offer a lot of variety; Unlockable equipment helps give players the edge when competing; Using the player's likeness for his or her athlete

Only six sports included; two of which were previously included in Kinect Sports titles; Target Shooting doesn't let you pull a virtual trigger

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

THIS IS THE WORSE KINECT GAME I HAVE PLAYED EVER. DOES NOT FOLLOW ACTIONS, DOES NOT RESPOND PROPERLY, ONLY SIX GAMES....BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT AFTER YEARS ON XBOX PRODUCTS.

Dis-Kinected : Sports Rivals sets the bar too low.

If you're one of the millions of owners of the Xbox One console, you might find it odd that the Kinect camera has barely any motion control games. Though It's likely that you use at least some of the integrated functionality, it's hardly something that is likely to impress your guests.

Voxel face-building is really neat; Rare knows how to make a game look polished

…even when the game is bad; inconsistent controls ramp up frustration quickly; uninspired gameplay; little variation; voice acting/dialog is atrocious; in-game purchases are shameless money-grab

Kinect Sports Rivals review

Despite its issues, Kinect Sports Rivals still offers a very competent motion-control sports experience. The likes of rock climbing and jetski racing present two of the more innovative offers out of the genre, while tennis, soccer and bowling feel like more of the same, even if they do benefit from...

+ Great look and sound; + Rock climbing and jetski racing; + Personable character progression; + Kinect refinements

- Lacks "party" feel; - Sluggish UI; - Competitiveness feels too artificial; - Cooperativeness is lacking
