Review: Jabra's Elite 85h noise-cancelling headphones are winners

Noise-cancelling headphones are popular among business travelers, those in loud, open office spaces, and frequent commuters for a reason: they make life just a little bit less stressful.

Audio A reasonably bass-forward profile with balanced mids and highs make the 85h noticeably different than Bose's headphones; and I think they're just more pleasant to listen to; Battery Jabra rates the 85h for 36 hours of music playback with ANC turned on; and I've had no reason to doubt it.

Weight The 85h have a larger battery and substantially sturdier headband than most wireless headphones; so they're pretty bulky (though I never found them uncomfortable); Price; again $300 is a lot of dough for most people to drop on headphones; and cheaper ANC over-ears do exist; Limited Assistant...

Great wireless headphones

These headphones come very neatly packaged with their own carry case which they fit into a great ease. At first you are asked to download app to improve your experience but to honest it not need as all can be done with a simple push of button on headphones.

Jabra Elite 85h review: Good noise-cancelling headphones that come with a hint of greatness

There's a skeleton of a brilliant product here, I just wish Jabra took a little more time to flesh it out rather than settle for good.

SmartSound is a cool idea; Cozy feel-factor; Solid ANC

SmartSound feels like it doesn't live up to potential; Price; Durability of the fabric feels like an unknown

Sometimes a bit of tech comes along that you're curious about, very excited for and you also have some apprehension about the delivery of and the Jabra Elite 85H fits perfectly in that box for me.

Jabra impressed us last year with a mix of quality and value on the Elite 65t. The Elite 85h is a well-built audio workhorse with amazing battery life and capable ANC, but the overall audio quality isn't as good as the Sony 1000XM3.

Jabra Elite 85h review: like the rest, but not the best

Jabra's Elite 85h are worth considering for many of the same reasons you might want Sony's 1000X M3, Bose's QC35, or one of the other models in our roundup of the best wireless headphones .

30-hour battery life with noise canceling on; Noise canceling is effective; Automatically pause when you take them off

Sound quality lags the Sony 1000X M3; SmartSound feature suffers too many false positives in noisy city; The large ear cups look bulky

Jabra Elite 85h Review

The Jabra Elite 85h deliver great sound, impressive battery life, and great style along with smart active noise canceling that adjusts to your surroundings. While you used to have to buy Bose if you wanted good noise-canceling headphones, Jabra is here with an exciting offering that quiets the world...

Great design and sturdy build; Excellent noise canceling with smart options; Good sound quality and EQ options; Perfect for ANC headphones for phone calls

The fabric does pick up dust and debris more than plastic; Easy to accidentally turn off when you pick up off a desk

Jabra Elite 85h Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones Review: Almost the Best

Active Noise Cancelling headphones can be pretty amazing, or pretty terrible, depending on how well they actually cancel noise in real-world situations, so when Jabra sent over their Elite 85h Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth headphones ( Rs.

Good sound quality; Excellent battery life; Bluetooth 5.0; Premium and sturdy build; USB-C

No aptX support; Bass sometimes distorts at high volumes; ANC is not at par with competitors like Sony's WH-1000XM3

Utterly love these. I have always tended to use ear-buds so this was a change more me. And a welcome one. The sound quality and the features are excellent, I just love the fact they react to you taking them off to "pause" and if you make full use of the available features and take time to do the...
