Jabra ELITE 85h ANC Headphones Review

The ELITE 85h may not be the best looking pair of headphones in the market and they are somewhat bulky compared to what Jabra has gotten us used to over the years but after two weeks of testing we can verify that they do excel in terms of audio performance (not to mention build quality) with crystal...

Jabra Elite 85h

The Jabra Elite 85h headphones deliver a powerful sonic experience and strong ANC in an exceptionally comfortable design. The ANC does affect the audio performance, which is a minor drawback, but it's not wildly different-the ANC mode seems to provide more low-frequency depth.

Powerful audio performance with deep bass and bright highs; Exceptionally comfortable; Excellent app features adjustable EQ and ANC settings

Expensive; ANC can alter sound signature slightly; Weak Alexa integration; On-ear controls could be better implemented

Jabra Elite 85h Review

Jabra's Elite headphone lineup comes in a number of different form factors and has given us several hits in the past. At $299.99, the Elite 85h is one of the pricier pairs available, but the good news is that it delivers on all fronts, from effective noise cancellation, to a powerful audio experience. Throw in a well-designed app that features user-adjustable EQ and ANC settings, and you have a compelling product that may not offer better ANC than the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, but comes close, and offers a more robust, dynamic audio experience. Design The circumaural (over-the-ear) Elite 85h headphones are available in black, beige, or blue, with matte plastic surfaces that are paired with cloth-covered panels for a modern, understated look. The earpads and headband are among the most comfortable we've tried—there's generous memory foam padding for the ears and head, and the feel is luxurious. There's a degree of water and dust protection, but not much—an IP52 rating means solid du...

Jabra Elite 85h

When Jabra first announced its new Elite 85h ($300, £280 or about AU$435 converted) over-ear premium wireless headphones, it touted how it would be equipped with always-on (hands-free) voice assistant control using Amazon's Alexa or Google Assistant .

The Jabra Elite 85h offers impressive noise-canceling performance, strong sound and excellent battery life with USB-C charging; They're comfortable to wear and are loaded with convenience features, including one-button access to Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri voice assistants.

A little heavier than their Bose and Sony competitors, they're not quite as comfortable; May not fit large heads

Jabra Elite 85H: Stylish and functional, but overpriced

The Elite 85H represent a commendable attempt to dethrone Bose and Sony. The Danish company has come out with a stylish contender that's packed with features and offers excellent call and recording quality.

Excellent battery life; Convenient auto-pause technology; Stylish

Performance doesn't match the Sony WH-1000XM3; Not as comfortable as the Bose QC35; Expensive

O.M.J!

I am a fan of Jabra's products and when the 85H were announced at CES in January I have been (literally) drooling to get my hands on a pair! All I can say is O.M.J - Oh My Jabra! and that's just the Bass going off in my head.

Jabra Elite 85h is among the most comfortable wireless headphones. It also comes with great battery life that can last for weeks without recharge. However, it does not quite match the standards of ANC achieved by Sony WH-1000XM3. Sound is the most fascinating thing in this universe.

Jabra Elite 85h Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Titanium Black 100-99030000-40 review

The Jabra Elite 85h is a good alternative Bose and Sony noise-canceling models for slightly less money, particularly if you value call quality.

A little heavier than their Bose and Sony competitors, they're not quite as comfortable; May not fit large heads.
