inFAMOUS: Second Son review (PS4)

The main character from Infamous: Second Son , a superhuman being labeled in this universe as a "Conduit," has the ability to absorb the powers of other Conduits and use them for his own means. Sadly, he never unearths the ability to get the game running at 60 frames per second.

A good game overall

A good game overall. The graphics and attention to detail stand out,the combat system feels great too.The storyline is ok but could've been a little less straightforward. The only thing which disappointed me is the moral choice system.Once you chose a path, you just have to go along with it.No real...

Infamous Second Son review

Seattle is terrifically realised as the game's main playground. If nothing else, Sucker Punch use the PS4's grunt to build a richly detailed and vibrantly coloured facsimile of their own hometown.

"Terrific Open World Goodness"

Announced during Sony's Playstation 4 reveal conference back in February 2013, Infamous Second Son was one of Sony's benchmark launch titles alongside Killzone Shadow Fall. Sadly, developer Sucker Punch decided a short delay was required and the game missed the Playstation 4 launch last November,...

Stunning graphics; solid voice acting; fun gameplay and boss battles

Side missions are mundane; player choices could of had more depth

inFamous: Second Son review – hero and?villain

The graphics are a great advert for the power of the PlayStation 4, but in terms of gameplay and story this hasn't moved on at all from the previous generation.

Amazing graphics and the core combat is enjoyable and pacy; with a wide range of customisable abilities – even if a lot of them are very similar in function

Underwritten story where the moral decisions have no weight in terms of both characters and gameplay; Repetitive structure and enemies, as well as boring side quests and boss battles

The Paint Washes Off

The selling point of a new console generation always seems to be graphics, and the current transition to the PS4 and XBox One has been no different-every comparison of the most recent boxes hinges on polygons, pixels, and framerates.

Crossing the city by gliding and jumping through satellite dishes without ever touching the ground

If you're a fan of Infamous, this game will not disappoint. Story and gameplay wise, it is the best in the series in my opinion. They've upped the quality of the voice acting, story telling and presentation. Graphically, this game is a show piece for the PS4.

inFAMOUS: Second Son - Review

Building on the success of the previous two instalments, Sucker Punch Productions returns with a brand new take on the series with inFAMOUS: Second Son . Replacing Cole MacGrath, players assume the role of Delsin Rowe, an Akomish Native American who has a habit of getting into trouble, pitting him...

Experience beautiful Seattle in a native 1080p resolution; Superb voice acting that delivers memorable dialog; An open world environment that changes with player actions

Touchpad integration can feel clunky at times; Use of the Dual Shock 4's speaker is unnecessary; Lack of a mission select option is disappointing
