Best Gaming Headset I've owned
Amazing, recommend this headset to anyone, including the other models in the series (owned the previous downgraded model).- -Comfort is amazing
- has interchangable pads for soft or leather feel
- even forget you have it on which is a goal for me with headsets -great mic
- all my friends say it sounds pretty clean -USB control for 7.1 is really fun
- sound has been perfect for what I need
- especially with the frequency range...
- -the adapter for headphone jack to headphone and microphone jacks is a small adapter that has a specified length so it doesnt work on all systems -Havent seen any ways that its been negative yet
Typical gaming headset for average price
Good headset. Comfort was and easy 4/5 Sound quality was an 3/5 (due to the maximum sound output) Mic was an 2/5 ( sometimes mic will be fine other times it will be bad quality audio)
Good but not great
It worked about as expected. I am disappointed in the sound quality though. Recently the audio cable showed signs of heavy wear despite it being relatively new and well taken care of. If the cable fails the headphones become useless..
Kingston HyperX Cloud II Review: King of Comfort
Last year, Kingston shocked many gamers by releasing the HyperX Cloud, a surprisingly good gaming headset from folks who are known for selling storage drives. The company's new HyperX Cloud II retains its predecessor's cozy, stylish design while adding virtual 7.1 surround sound for extra immersion.- Best-in-class comfort
- Stylish
- lightweight design
- Includes both pleather and plush ear covers
- Lackluster bass
- No software for customizing sound
Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset
The Stinger fits the Kingston HyperX Cloud mold, with a comfortable headset and a great overall value.
HyperX Cloud Stinger over-ear wired gaming headset review
We've said a few times that the HyperX Cloud Stinger headset is good for its price , and that's the truth of the matter. It won't stand compared to more expensive headsets like the HyperX Cloud Revolver or the Sennheiser Game One headset . At $50, however, it can't be beat.
HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset Review
For what it is, this value designed low-cost unit gets the job done and still has some quality to it.- Value driven low cost but contains quality
- Sound quality is higher than expected
- Rotatable ear cups
- No cool extra features
- Does not ship with a carrying case
- Headstrap and ear cups could use just a little more work
HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless Gaming Headset Review
The HyperX Cloud Stinger Wireless is a good wireless gaming headset, especially at this price point. It doesn't have a lot of fancy features and without any software there's no customization options, but it offers good audio and a clear mic so it covers the basics well.
Kingston HyperX Cloud II Headset
Gaming headsets don't have to be just for gaming. Any good set can also work well as regular stereo headphones , as long as they have a 3.5mm connection and sound good, and the boom mic doesn't get in the way.- Attractive, understated design
- Solid build quality
- Works with PCs and mobile devices as well as most modern game systems
- Virtual 7.1-channel surround isn't effective
- Besides the USB sound card, cable isn't detachable
