Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset Review

When it comes to serious gamers a great headset is just as important as their keyboard and mouse. They want something that is going to be functional, provide great sounds, and of course be very comfortable.

– Steel frame design; – Very comfortable; – Can be used on mobile devices; PC; and PS4; – Great sound quality; – Removable microphone

– Some audio bleed into the microphone

Built to last - HyperX Cloud Revolver review

My old headset has been sitting on the shelf for months. It's not that the Cloud Revolver, HyperX's new PC headset, is significantly greater in any manner; I imagine that I'll eventually switch the two back, if not just for variety's sake.

Sturdy frame; Great audio quality; Crisp; effective mic; Comfy ear cups and design

All-black clip is difficult to operate in dark rooms; Still needs preamp for pro stream setups; Bulkier than most

Very sturdy headset I really like it. The Sound is amazing and the frame is good not that heavy on the head either.

"Love the delivery speed"

Ordered the headset on 24th May using express, delivered right to my doorstep on the 25th May. Love the sound quality, crisp treble and midtones, decent bass, good for gaming. Mic quality is very good.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver review

The Cloud Revolver is solid gaming headset, but its price lands it above most of the market's current offerings.

Lightweight; Comfortable; Clear and crisp sound quality;

Pricey; Lack of portability

Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver

If you are looking to invest about 10k in a pair of dedicated gaming headphones, then you can consider the Cloud Revolver. Sure, there is no 7.1 surround or noise canceling audio, but the performance and comfort of the headphones are good for long hours of gaming.

Good; comfortable build; Commendable audio performance; Short cable is great for console gamers

Metal headband can get annoying for some; No surround sound

The Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver provides multiple device use with it's 3.5mm jacks and heavenly precise immersive sound reproduction. Both invigorating and surprising at gaming and music the comfort and luxury of the headset is unexpected in this price range.

Versatility; True Sound Reproduction; Immersive Game Play; Self-Adjusting Head Strap; Noise Canceling Mic; Durability; Memory Foam

Lacks 7.1 Surround Sound; Little Expensive

HyperX Cloud Revolver

The Cloud Revolver is HyperX's gaming headset for those who want an analogue connection and a comfortable design for long gaming sessions. Priced at £99.99, it's more expensive than the brilliant Cloud II, but comes with a "studio grade" soundstage and a new design.

Universal compatibility; Innovative design; Very comfortable; Respectable audio quality

Headset jiggles when moved; Microphone isn't fantastic; Metal band conducts noise; Relatively expensive

HyperX Cloud Revolver Review

The HyperX Cloud Revolver offers rich audio within a comfy, durable design, but it lacks some key features for a $120 gaming headset.

Crisp; immersive audio; Comfy ear cups; Automatically adjusts to your head; Durable steel frame

No virtual 7.1 surround sound; Relatively pricey

Nice headsets but the boom mic is very flimsy

I purchased these for my son for Xmas last year and it wasn't more than 2 weeks and the plastic on the boom mic cracked. It was near where it connects to the headset. I thought he was just hard on ithe headset but he assures me that all he was doing was adjusting the boom position and it crack.

decent sound; cord on mike does not twist and tangle like other headsets

boom mic broke after a couple of weeks
