HyperX Cloud Revolver S Review: Loud and (Mostly) Clear
The HyperX Cloud Revolver was an impressive gaming headset, offering crisp sound within a cozy, sturdy and cool-looking design. The new Revolver S ($149) retains everything great about its predecessor while adding plug-and-play virtual surround sound and a variety of audio preset options.
Pros:
- Very comfortable
- Clear microphone
- Strong overall sound quality
- Works well with both PCs and consoles
Cons:
- So-so surround sound
- A bit pricey

HyperX Cloud Revolver S Headset Review
In a relatively short space of time, HyperX has come to dominate the gaming headset market. Today, we are looking at the company's most expensive headset to-date – the Cloud Revolver S.
Pros:
- Well-built
- Comfortable to use
- Sounds great in stereo mode
- Bass-boost EQ option is great for FPS gaming
Cons:
- Surround-sound is far too
- Because of the poor surround
- it is hard to justify the extra £50 over the original Revolver headset
- £139.99 is a lot of money for any virtual-surround gaming headset

Better hyper x model for big head users
Very comfy and lightweight. They feel durable and fit tighter than the cloud ii or alphas. They also sound really good used on console. Much better than Sennheiser game zero that I had.

DESIGN FLAWS - MIC won't keep a connection!
HyperX Cloud Revolver S Gaming Headset with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound. I wanted to like these headphones. I truly did. After all, there is a LOT to like (other than the $149.00 price tag).

Shocking
This was the second pair I bought- within 2 months- that experienced the following problem. Nearly every time I moved I'd receive a small electrical shock to either ear. Furthermore, when this shock occurred the USB port, to which the headphones were attached, would fail.
