For a headset made by a company that makes PC components they are incredibly good, sound quality with the weird dual chamber thing works wonders, you can really tell apart the lows and highs. The build quality is fantastic have had these for a year and abit now, dropped,thrown,stepped on,sat on, every thing u can think of and they are still in perfect working order, and even dropped them in the bath, after abit of drying, they still worked perfectly! (thats not even a joke legit happened)
Great headset, fantastic sound & audio, would definitely buy again
If you're looking for excellent headphones worth your buck then get these. Honestly surprise how good they are.
The Kingston HyperX Cloud is a great looking headset and more importantly one of the best I have heard in a very long time. They are capable of resolving an extraordinary range of frequencies, separating the high and midrange perfectly while resolving a surprising level of tight, punchy bass.
Excellent sound quality; Clear, focused dynamics, without distortion, even at high volume, Gaming is atmospheric thanks to superb stereo panning, Fantastic frequency separation, Very comfortable over long periods, Good build quality and aluminium body – no creaking frame under duress, Great bundle...
Will be expensive; Mic sound isolation isn't great
Despite my initial impressions, I have to admit that I've really enjoyed my time with the Kingston HyperX Gaming Headset. They are incredibly comfortable and help immerse you when gaming and close out the outside world (apologies to the wife and kids)…
Usage & Final Thoughts When I first put on the HyperX Cloud Revolver the first thing that I thought was that they were really loose on my head. This all has to do with the design and the flexible headband.
– Steel frame design; – Very comfortable; – Can be used on mobile devices; PC; and PS4; – Great sound quality; – Removable microphone
– Some audio bleed into the microphone
There are two key factors when thinking about any set of headphones on the market: comfort and sound quality. For me, comfort trumps sound almost every time. It doesn't matter if you are getting the world's greatest sound out of a brand new set if they feel like you are putting needles into your...
HyperX has been a victim of its own success. The brand burst onto the scene in 2014 with the HyperX Cloud, a sub-$100 headset that was not only as comfortable as its namesake, but sounded as good or better than most of its higher-priced competition.
HyperX has released a half-dozen headsets since 2014’s original and acclaimed Cloud design, but the Alpha is the first to match—and even surpass—its predecessor.
Fully removable cabling and smarter inline control placement; Comfortable; Excellent audio quality, for the price;
More expensive than the original Cloud, with fewer accessories; Upper audio range can be a bit muddled;
It's better than any other headset I've tried at the same price, however, the Cloud II wins out in every field. With the Cloud II's improved sound, comfort and microphone quality, I would strongly suggest spending the extra $20 - $30 or so in investing in the upgraded edition.
The feel; Comfort in the long-run; Easy to clean
Size issues; The microphone; The ear cups; PRICING; United States; HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset retails for $67.49 at Amazon; Canada; HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset retails for CDN$79.00 at Amazon Canada
