Very pleased
As a home builder, I needed an 11x17 laser printer for my home office to supplement the antique Laserjet 5000 in my field office. Though I didn't necessarily need a color laser printer, I am very pleased with both the output times and output quality of this printer.

Really underwhelming
I purchased this printer a little over 18 months ago. The technical specs were just what I needed for my startup marketing firm. There's just one problem ... the color performance is downright horrible. There is simply no accuracy between screen and printed result. Have tried technical support.

So far the printer has performed as expected. Only cavete is the duplex printing, which does not seem to be working.

CP5225n LaserJet Printer
We needed a good quality printer because we are a print shop and use the print outs as keylines. The quality is excellent - very crisp type. I had to call customer service a couple of times to get it set up and they were very patient and helpful.

Excellent printer for the home office, produces good vibrant colours and prints on both sides without any sign of jamming even on A3, all on inexpensive 90g paper . I bought a refurbished one from Kinete which was in nearly new condition, with almost full toners and was about half the price of a new...

QA issues
1) I've bought 2 of these. The first one was DOA, it wouldn't print any cyan at all, even after we replaced the cyan cartridge. As our business relies heavily on printing, we bought another one right away and went to return the first DOA one, but Newegg wouldn't take it back, and HP wanted $900 in...
Pros:
- Relatively cheap for a tabloid color laser
- Good print quality, lines are fine and text is crisp
Cons:
- See other thoughts
